Today's "Peace" of Truth: The Music Hall is Amazing!

As you may recall, I recommended followers to go to the Music Hall in Portsmouth on Saturday night, for the RPM Music Listening Party. If you didn't go this year, go next year, and if you haven't been to this theater yet, GO! Here's a little bit about my experience there...

As I walked through the door, I immediately felt uplifted and amazed by the dazzling lobby. In utter awe, my eyes jumped from the color changing ceiling, to the plush red seating, to the intricate tile floor design, to the fanciful tree- holding the sign to the building. There were flatscreens hidden in blue bubbles, a glowing bar, golden pillars, and custom historical wallpaper. Even the bathroom was cool, with it's European feel. I have never been anywhere like this, and I'm so impressed by the renovations they have completed over the last year. It combines theatrical necessities with modern luxuries, and all is done in an extremely artistic fashion. I could have stayed there the whole night, but I decided to check out the main event- the music!

Artists gathered here to share their new, unique albums, and to network. It was nice to be an observer of it all, and listen to how musicians are composing and playing music these days. One of the guest speakers described music as "air", in it's importance in our lives. It's true! Can you imagine life without any music?? I personally, would not want to live in a world without it! The entire experience further deepened my respect and love for all things musical- that being the artists, the hours of work they put in to make their songs, the talent it takes to accomplish it all, the inspiration, the teamwork of band members, the revolution of genres, and the sweet sweet music this all creates! Really listen to the next song you hear, and enjoy!
