Ideas for the Next Few Days...

Todays "Peace" of Truth:

I hope you all know that it is Restaurant Week in downtown Portsmouth. This means that tons of restaurants are offering three course menus at discounted prices. Lunch will only cost you about $16, and dinner- $30...(this doesn't include a tip of course). So go dine in some of the best places on the seacoast, and enjoy yourself! I recommend Pesce Blue for not only delicious, creative seafood dishes, but also exemplary atmosphere & service. You'll feel like you are in New York City!

As for the weekend, head on over to UNH in Durham for the Home, Garden & Flower Show at the Whittemore Center. You'll see all kinds of new ideas to freshen up your home, including lots of "Green" living options. It should be a good time!

An opportunity for a unique Saturday night for all you music-lovers is the RPM Music Challenge--Go down to the Music Hall in downtown Portsmouth for the Listening party that starts out at 6:30. It's a night of new tunage for all those eager ears out there! Musicians from around the world are challenged to come up with brand spankin' new albums in the month of February alone. These artists converge on our seacoast town to share their work, and party around town at various listening parties. These will be at The Press Room, The Loaf & Ladle, and the RiverRun Bookstore. It's free, it's fun, and it's new--What more could you ask for??? Parties last 'til midnight my friends!
